1857.
Mon cher frère,
J’ai reçu, il y a quelque temps,
ta lettre, elle m’a fait beaucoup de plaisir.
Papa a reçu en meme temps ta longue lettre, il
était tres content car il trouvait tes letters
trop courtes. Grand Papa Doux était içi, il
était tres bien et devait partir deux jours
apres, avec Ledoux et Lucien, pour le college
de spring Hill. Nous sommes tous tres bien.
Tout va comme de coutume, nous faisons l’é-
cole tout les jours, nous faisons beaucoup de
progrés. Maman parle de nous envoyer,
